Mission
Ricky Speaks Life is a nonprofit which exists to financially come alongside individuals with a mission to "mobilize the immobile".
The heart of Ricky's mission is to support those who need manual wheelchairs, to empower individuals, and to share God's love through His son Jesus.
Ricky’s message of past struggles gives hope to those struggling in their circumstances as he directs their attention to God. He rejoices in his disability, knowing it is for the glory of God he was born with OI. As people hear Ricky, they are encouraged through the telling of him overcoming various trials. Just as Paul boasted in his weakness, Ricky does likewise that the glory of God be shown. 2 Corinthians 12:9; John 9:3

For individuals with disabilities, their wheelchair can dramatically shape their day to day health and habits. We want to help provide people with custom manual wheelchairs that are built for them, help them stay active and healthy, and inspire them to seek to live their life to the fullest. Ricky Speaks Life desires to be a resource for those who need manual wheelchairs. Unfortunately, many insurances will not provide funding for a suitable manual wheelchair.
A custom manual wheelchair can cost anywhere from $2,500 to $10,000 depending on the needs of the wheelchair user. With your support, you can help provide someone a wheelchair!
Wheelchair costs can include:
Seat cushion - some individuals require a certain type of seat cushion due to skin breakdown.
Arm rests - can add support for individuals whom have a hard time being seated upright.
Wheelchair frame - each chair will be made to fit every individual.
Backrest - some individuals require a special backrests due to their condition.
